Material and Functional Test

We prepare preliminary
test documents for each
project. These may be
completed in conformity
with the KTA safety
standards or beyond that
according to special
customer requirements, as
e.g. according to special
forms, test specifications
or operation procedures.
Among other things they
comprise construction and
final inspection plans with
all test steps required for
the manufacture.
Depending on the
requirement level the test
is carried out in presence
of the customer and / or an
expert according to § 20
Atomic Energy Act.

Our standard tests comprise:

Functional test of the finished components

Loading test up to a test load of 250 t (in special cases up to 400 t), incl. the manufacture of the required test adaptors and/or test devices
-
Complete breaking tests, e.g. at the slinging ropes and shackles for ascertaining the actual breaking load
Tests going beyond that may be agreed.

Qualification of semi-finished products according to the specifications of the material sheets of the KTA safety standards

Non-destructive test according to DIN EN 473 by appropriate staff
